Bush Lied?

Democrats for years have been calling for the immediate withdrawal of US forces from Iraq, even the ones who voted for the war. They have accused President Bush of lying so he could start a war. Now we hear:

The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program - a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium - reached a Canadian port yesterday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" - the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment - was a significant step toward closing the books on Hussein's nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried that the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions. Read the full story.

Suppose all the libs had their way and we withdrew our troops, leaving the Iranians to help themselves to all of that yellowcake? How many of those calling President Bush a liar knew about this? How long have they known it? What other WMD's are still over there that Barack Obama would like to leave in the hands of our enemies? No doubt this little story won't be getting a whole lot of airtime from the main stream media.
