How McCain Can Help the Conservative Movement

Since I'm no great fan of Mike Huckabee I've had to find the positive in the probable nomination of John McCain. Of course, there are issues where I agree with him completely, like the war, reducing spending and lowering taxes. The other stuff is basically off the table, so why dwell on it?

Here's what I'm thinking. McCain has the ability to get Independents and Democrats to vote for him. Does he have the ability to get them to think of themselves as Republicans? I have no idea. But I know that people don't like to be wrong. If someone votes for McCain and he loses, they may end up disliking who beat him just by default. Then after four years of the Democrats screwing things up they will be much more likely to vote against a Democrat. If he wins, they will feel the need to justify their vote, and maybe re-think their political philosophy.

All I'm saying is, if McCain can bring people over to our side, maybe they will stay there.

Obama keeps saying that he can get republicans to vote for him. If McCain is having a hard time with the conservatives what makes him think that? answer...he doesn't. He just gives a pretty speach and tells them he is going to change everything. He is a scary guy. I would rather loose to Hillary than him[now I have to wash my mouth out with soap]but its true.

I know for sure that something big is happening in the country. People really do want things to change. I hope that americans will see that Obama is not the change they want.

I heard today someone say that Obama is like a Rorschach test. He's what people want him to be. What I find so ironic is that he's being billed as the next JFK. If JFK were alive today he'd be a Republican. BHO is no JFK.

I did hear about a poll that said McCain pulled in more Democrats than Obama did Republicans.

The problem is, will the media ask tough questions of Obama if he's nominated? I'm afraid they won't. They adore him.

sorry about all the deleted posts.
I was having some trouble here. I was trying to figure it out so I was just fooling around. It was calling me elaine and giving me a trash can. I still have the trash can but thats ok. As you can see I used the trash can. I am limited to my computer abilities. I click on things to see what they are...and then I'm elaine again, or worse. Sometimes everything just goes away.

I'm not logged in yet, but I get an email when new comments are posted. I don't see a trash can, I don't know what that's about. We all will have to go to confession after rooting for Hillary to beat Obama.
