Political Roundup

Iraqi spies went on a junket to Iraq with three Democratic congressmen during the run-up to the invasion of Iraq. The trip was paid for with 2 MILLION barrels of oil, taken from the Oil for Food Program. Let's see, oil was trading at about $50 a barrel at the time. Not bad for a few days' work. If it had been Republican congressmen all of the major news networks would have interrupted soap operas with the "Breaking News". We'll have to see if it gets a mention in any of the MSM newspapers or programs. Click here for more on this story.

Barrack Obama released part of his plan to help the economy today in a speech. He proposed more regulation of business. Well, there's a surprise! Later he was interviewed on CNBC and said he would raise the capital gains tax, roll back the Bush tax cuts, etc. Not to be outdone, Congress would like to raise our taxes as well, to the tune of about $3000 per family per year. I don't know about you, but there is a lot I can do with $3000 that doesn't include increasing the size of the federal government. Maybe I would even spend it, helping out the economy.

Client 9's legal troubles have only just begun. It looks like he frequented yet another high priced call girl ring. He's just like the energizer bunny, except Spitzer just keeps Ho'ing and Ho'ing.

Yet another new poll shows John McCain ahead of both Clinton and Obama. If you are a conservative who doesn't want to vote for McCain I suggest you read this piece by Mark Hillman. John McCain will not be all things to all conservatives, but come on people, consider the alternative!

According to this article Condi Rice is leaving the door open to a McCain/Rice ticket. That's interesting. But then again...McCain was out campaigning with Mitt Romney. Oh the Suspense!

It looks like they've made up.

Thanks for the link.
"Ho, Ho, HO," adds to meaning to a Democratic Christmas. Good one on Spitzer.
