Term Limits

I keep wondering what the founding fathers of our country would think of the massive, disgusting thing that is our federal government. I believe they would be horrified, and if they could have envisioned such a thing that they would have made term limites for Congress a law. Unfortunately, nobody's perfect.

The gang of theives in the House and Senate today will never pass a term limit law on themselves. They just wouldn't do it. But what if new candidates running for Congress were to pledge to serve no more than 6 years, if elected? They could tell the people that they aren't in it for themselves, and then prove it.

It's just a thought, but wouldn't it be nice if this caught on?
