Correction

In the interest of fairness I want to let you know that I misquoted John McCain in an earlier post. He didn't say "If they want the f*&*ing fence". I checked and he said "If the want the G*d d*mn fence". I found a bunch of other f word quotes, but I did get them mixed up. I apologize.

Oh! well! then! I am going to have to change my vote right away!! The very idea that John would say dirty words is just too much. I know that nobody else uses words like that!! He is very very bad!!!

I am used to hearing that kind of attack from the Dems. or Rush or Coulter. I hope I'm not talking to a Ditto Head. Please tell me you aren't a Ditto Head. Rush has always been a bit strange but he has become nothing more than a big windbag. He just can't understand why he hasn't been able to stop McCain. Fox news has John McCain 30 points ahead of Romney right now. I know things have a way of changing and it could happen but I am starting to feel confident.

Im not a ditto head. I do my own research and make up my own mind. I don't care is someone curses, but google "mccain said f" and you'll find quite a few stories about McCain's explosive temper, often directed at other senators that didn't agree with him. A new story out today is that he was so mad about Bush beating him in 2000 that he met with Democrats to talk about changing parties. And if the life issue is so important, what's going to happen when he is buddying up to the Dems when nominating Supreme Court Justices. Can you trust him to nominate those like Alito and Roberts. Or will he nominate a "consesus" justice that the Democrats can embrace?

And why is it that people who don't like John McCain are called crazy? I don't hear Romney supporters calling McCain supporters crazy. Also, the piece with Ann Coulter last night was funny-they were all laughing, too.

All of the McCain attacks don't seem to be working. Maybe John will ask Mitt to be VP. It wouldn't be the first time that the Pres. and VP didn't like each other.

I heard the story about John almost leaving the party. It is so funny that if McCain says something isn't true, you believe it any way, however, if Romney says something isn't true, its a dirty trick.

Ann Coulter was laughing, but she was dead serious at the time. She is probably back stepping today. Maybe she had a little to much to drink before she went on.

There is no doubt in my mind what kind of Supreme Court Justices McCain will put in. I can't be so confident about Romneys choices. They were all asked that question in the last debate, and they all said that they would nominate those like Alito and Roberts. McCains word is as good as Romneys[better in my opinion]

Crazy is throwing the chance of winning in November under the bus.Crazy is listening to all of the hate that the far right is putting out there.
you might be correct that the Romney people don't call McCain people crazy. They just put out alot of hate.No one has been attacked more than McCain, and most of it done by Reps. The media and the Dems. don't have to bother because the republicans are taking care of it for them.

I read today, several times, that McCain said at the time Alito was appointed the Alito was too conservative and wore it on his sleeve. He voted for Alito, but still-if that was his initial thought about the guy, would he have chosen him? I don't think I'm spreading hate. I don't hate McCain, but lately he makes me mad. Where is the humble guy from a few months ago? Is winning a few states going to his head?

If a Democrat wins, the GOp in the Congress will fight their left-wing proposals, and try to save us from them. But if a "Republican prez tries the same things they will support him and help screw up the country. Then the GOP will be completely responsible for the mess. I can't be bothered voting for McCain.

Dittoheads
Faithful listeners to The Rush Limbaugh Show.[23] As Limbaugh often explains in his books and radio show, these are not necessarily those who agree with his views. Rather, he believes they are people who love the show and what he's doing, and hope he never stops doing it. The term came into use because callers would frequently begin by giving praise and thanks to Limbaugh. Knowing that the caller’s and listener’s time is valuable, one caller simply said roughly "ditto to what those guys said (how much they enjoyed the show)." Thereafter, callers were encouraged to simply say, “Dittos,” and then get right to their point. Thus, long-time listeners would begin their calls with “Dittos, Rush,” leading to the term “dittoheads.” The term is also used pejoratively by critics of Limbaugh, who claim that his listeners simply copy his political views without any independent thought. Since then, the phrase has been upgraded to "mega dittos."

Thanks for giving my readers the history of Ditto Heads! I like Rush, I just haven't listened to him lately.

About Ron Paul, I was reading that he could do for the Republicans what Barry Goldwater did. I think it's great that Ron Paul has such a loyal following. He's getting a lot of young people to actually think about the political process and the Constitution. I'd much rather see a generation of libertarians than a generation of socialists.

It was my pleasure, as it's my pleasure reading you blog.

I think we all know what a "dittohead" is. I don't mind Rush so much when he is going after the Dems. But I never wasted my time listening to him.I saw a clip of him the other day and He was actually foaming at the mouth, really, his spit was flying all over the place.I bet you wouldn't care much for him if he was after your choice. Rush,Coulter, and the
other radio people that think they can sway the election, are finding out that they can't because most Reps. aren't listening to them. Right at this min.John McCain is up 18 points over Romney. thats from Realpolitics.com I don't count alot on polls so I will just wait and see. And one more thing. As someone who used to enjoy Ann Coulter[even though about half of the time I felt she crossed the line in a very big way]I see nothing but a power hungry and mean spirted woman. And it speak very well for McCain that she won't vote for him.

Humble? You can't really think that Romney is humble!!! I guess it might be nice if McCain just never answered any of the lies told about him. He is fighting back just as Romney does when he thinks he has to.

Did you hear about McCains remark about Alito in the media that is so favorable to McCain? Hmmmm
I don't find anything wrong with what he said. I would hope that he would take some time with something that important. He is very favorable toward Roberts[who is more of a conservative than anyone]

The Lonely Conservative said...

No, I did not hear about it on ABC, CBS or NBC. They will hold their criticism of McCain until the general election. As far as the conservatives waiting to endorse Romney, I think that they read my blog and after my analysis of the candidates decided to go with my guy:)

And again, what did he do to you to make you hate him so much in the past week? If I told a lie about you, wouldn't you defend yourself?

Why not just vote for Hillary or Obama, yeah, they would be much better than Romney. That's just silly and you know it.

I have to find another blog. One where there is at least someone that has a similar point of view as mine. This is getting depressing. I can't take all this Romney love. It's upsetting my stomach. The more my guy is attacked, the more I dislike Romney. I can't even look at his face anymore.

The Lonely Conservative said...

We're all on the same side. Republicans do this every primary. When it's over they all kiss and make up. It's certainly not personal. McCain's not my favorite, Romney's not yours. But neither one is Hillary or Obama. Think about the judge's they'll appoint.

I hope that everyone knows that a little change in the Republican party has to happen. The young voters are sick and tired of the same old thing. We want someone that will work with the Democrats. There are too many things that need to get done and working together is the only way to do it. They have to change on the other side as well. Keep an open mind and at least listen to other points of view. Maybe the young people will really come out to vote when they know that "change" is not just a word being used as a means to an end. Like it or not the world is changing and I hope the Republicans can keep open to it. Patti! stick with who you believe to be the best for the country. You are on the right track.

Rob
you can't say that here! you must conform to the far right. you must listen and do as they say. they turn the other way where romney is concerned. A bigger flip flopper would be hard to find. thanks anyway.
